What brings you joy and peace? What makes you laugh? What invigorates you? What makes you feel well nourished?

Come join a small group  to explore your health and wellness. Have you wanted to make a commitment to some changes in your life? This is an opportunity to get support to make those changes over the next couple of months.

We will participate in a series of learning gatherings to explore our eating, moving and socializing routines and what and how we can improve.

Lauri Winter will facilitate these gatherings over 9 weeks to reflect, share, and encourage each other as we progress in setting and achieving goals for ourselves.

We will meet on Zoom twice a week between 1 pm and 2 pm on Tuesday and Thursdays. (We can also decide as a group to change the timing of the class)

Lauri Winter will be the facilitator of  this program and is a candidate for a graduate certificate in Adult Education at the University of the District of Columbia. She has been leading public health projects—mostly in developing countries—for more than 25 years. With Master’s degrees in community health nursing and public and private management from Yale University, she has helped healthcare-focused organizations and individuals develop their capacity to improve the quality of their efforts.

Lauri’s greatest reward in her work is to empower others to understand that they can make changes and that by teaching simple tools she can bring confidence to those individuals or communities to make their own decisions and plan.
