Understanding the COVID-19 Vaccines

Join Northwest Neighbors Village for an up-to-date discussion on the COVID-19 vaccines. Ruth Karron, M.D. will provide a brief overview and answer your questions. You won't want to miss this interactive program!

Dr. Karron is a Professor of International Health in the Bloomberg School of Public Health with a joint appointment in the Department of Pediatrics in the School of Medicine, Johns Hopkins University.  Dr. Karron is a pediatric infectious diseases physician, virologist, and vaccinologist, and is Director of the Center for Immunization Research and the Johns Hopkins Vaccine Initiative.  Dr. Karron has substantial experience in the evaluation of respiratory virus vaccines in adult and pediatric populations.  

Dr. Karron is a leading vaccine expert, serving on national and international vaccine advisory committees for the FDA, CDC, the World Health Organization, GAVI (the global vaccine alliance), and COVAX.
