What does it take to live a long and vital life? In our January program, you’ll learn about the lifestyles of people living in the Blue Zones, five areas around the world where residents have been found to live exceptionally long and healthy lives.
The presenter, Julie Wendt, MS, CNS, LDN is a licensed nutritionist with a private practice in the metro DC area who also manages the wellness center at Simply Nutrition in Rockville. MD. She has a Master’s of Science in Integrative Health and is a Licensed Dietician Nutritionist (LDN) in Maryland, a Licensed Nutritionist (LN) in D.C., and a Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS). She has co-authored the nutrition chapter in Integrative Geriatric Medicine edited by Dr Mikhail Kogan and is currently co-authoring a book on geriatric nutrition. She also teaches nutrition at the GW Medical School in their Integrative Medicine Program. She last spoke to Live & Learn in January 2019 about Nutrition and Lifestyle Solutions to Promote Cognitive Health.
