A series of yearlong celebrations of women authors and their influence. Starting this March, we will honor a new woman author, as we read and chat throughout the year about her work, as well the work of others who've been impacted by her.
Daughters of Jane will cover the portrayal of women in Regency Romance, Victorian and Gothic literature on both sides of the Atlantic. We'll gather online to chat at 6 p.m. on every 3rd Tuesday.
Please contact Jo Stallworth and Peter Costolanski at adultservices.dcpl@dc.gov to register to attend and to find out what we're reading this month.
