A special update on improving end-of-life options and care is scheduled February 9 – at the Washington Ethical Society. It will start at 3 p.m. at WES, located at 7750 Sixteenth Street NW.
Matt Whitaker of Compassion & Choices will report on exciting recent developments in the national push for medical aid in dying, including new tools for navigating treatment and care options regarding dementia. And he will outline C&C’s plans for 2020 and beyond and address any questions you may have.
Compassion & Choices is a nonprofit organization working to improve patients’ rights and individual choice at the end of life. For more than 30 years it has led most of the significant advances in the death-with-dignity movement. Matt is C&C’s Director of Integrated Services and a former clinician with extensive experience in health policy and advocacy.
I hope to see you for this event at WES on February 9 and hope you will let me know in advance that you’re planning to join us.
