Come break a sweat moving to the music and rhythms you love  with a fusion of dance, yoga and tai chi flows. This weight bearing class will help build and strengthen your bones, all while engaging your core, gaining flexibility, and improving your posture and balance.

Participate in our fitness classes through Zoom. We will send you a link to join the class before the class begins.  Email: [email protected] if you need help accessing Zoom. Once you have registered for one class, you will be enrolled in that class each week. You do need to register for other classes other days. Please register by 9:00 pm the night before the class is to take place. Registrants after 9:00 pm may not be invited to the class the following day. Participate in the exercise programs  at your own risk and remember to consult with your doctor before starting a new fitness program.

Norma James has been teaching group fitness classes for over 35 years. As a group fitness instructor and certified personal trainer, she uses her dance background and love for music to motivate people of all ages to move and have fun while doing  it. Her enthusiasm is infectious to all her students; she teaches at several locations including LA fitness and Sportfit as well as several senior communities. She teaches a variety of formats including aqua aerobics, aqua yoga, deep water, strength training, boot camp and fitness classes for seniors.

When Norma broke her ankle a few years ago and was in a cast, she attended a Zumbathon! She continued to teach her seniors during her recovery, cast, boot and all!

“I tell my students, no excuses. If one part of your body doesn’t work, work what you can! Start where you are and build. Move consistently and everyday you’ll get stronger than the day before.”
