The opportunity drawing is a part of NNV's virtual gala, scheduled for Tuesday, May 23rd at 7PM. Ticket buyers will also be invited to an in-person wine and cheese celebration to thank you for your support. This event will be held at a member's home on Wednesday, June 21st from 5-7pm.
Volunteer services are critical to NNV’s ability to fulfill our mission. This year’s Tickets for a Cause fundraising goal of $10,000 helps support the vital services of our volunteer corps. NNV volunteers provided over 5,000 hours of service last year. Your ticket purchase ensures the vital coordination of our Village's volunteer services - services critical to meeting our member's basic needs and being engaged and connected to their community.

Enjoy the consummate meal prepared by award winning chef Colin McClimans at his newest restaurant on NNV’s neighborhood’s main “avenue”.
According to the famous MICHELIN Guide - In quiet Chevy Chase, on the border of Bethesda, this buzzy restaurant is well on its way to becoming a neighborhood essential. Far from flashy, the team isn’t out to redefine a cuisine or break any culinary boundaries. Ricotta dumplings, beef tartare, a properly cooked filet of trout – these are familiar flavors handled in a confident manner. There is the occasional surprise, like the excellent lamb-stuffed pita. And for dessert, there is no escaping the tiramisu ice cream, a triumphant finale that nobody will want to share. A reasonably priced set menu appeals to those not in the mood to make any decisions. Either way, the homey space fills up fast, and even the bar can be packed out with guests perfectly content to eat while standing.
3. Hillwood Gardens • $400
You and 7 friends will enjoy a docent led tour of the beautiful Hillwood Estate or Gardens – home of Marjorie Merriweather Post, followed by lunch in the garden tea room.

5. Computeroo • $225Are you technologically challenged? Just need some help or support to better understand how best to maximize your time or your computer? Computeroo is for you! Two and half hours of professional support and understanding to enhance your knowledge and proficiency.
Experience a fantastic wine and cheese tasting for up to 10 people and the opportunity to discuss the wines with an expert from Calvert Woodley. The winner chooses the date, and with the help of Carlos at Calvert Woodley, select their own wines (French, US, Chilean, all red or all white, etc.) as long as they remain within the donated budget. The winner can also leave the wine selection to Calvert Woodley.
Once the wine is chosen, Calvert Woodley will then select cheeses that go with the wines, and provide assorted crackers. A wine expert will be available when the winner picks up the donations to ensure everything complements. (Certificate expires 12/31/2023)
