There's no better way to bid summer farewell than time spent with your neighbors and friends. Members, volunteers, family, and friends are invited to join us rain or shine at NNV's annual end-of-summer picnic.

This is a potluck event. NNV provides hot dogs, hamburgers, and the fixin's. You provide the rest. Bring your favorite side dish or refreshing beverage. New This Year - Mister Softee Ice Cream Truck! This year, picnic goers can enjoy a sweet treat. A Mister Softee ice cream truck will be serving soft serve ice cream cups, cones, sundaes, and shakes from 1:30-2:30.

Photo Shoot: Many of the photos we are using are out of date and it's time to update NNV's photos. There will be a professional photographer taking photos at the Annual Picnic. The photos will be used on our website, in the newsletter, and other promotional materials. Please let us know if you are uncomfortable being photographed for this purpose and we will let the photographer know.

Get Your NNV T-shirt:  NNV is ordering t-shirts for all members and volunteers who would like one.  T-shirts will be distributed at the Annual Picnic.  To receive a t-shirt, you must complete an order form by Friday, August 25th.

NNV Full Members: If you would like to request a ride to the picnic, please mention that you need a ride when you register or call the office at (202) 935-6060 to request a ride by September 15th.
