Join us for a docent-led tour of the exhibit LGBTJews in the Federal City at the Capital Jewish Museum. Thanks to the generous underwriting of the tour by Immediate Past Board President Gene Sofer, we have the opportunity to visit for free!

The tour of the exhibit will last approximately 1 hour. There are seating opportunities to rest during the tour. After the tour, you are welcome to explore the rest of the museum on your own.

If there is interest, we will organize a visit to Jack's Famous Deli (right around the corner from the museum) for lunch.

The Capital Jewish Museum is located at the corner of 3rd & F Streets, NW
575 3rd Street, NW
Washington, DC 20001

Travel to the Museum:
We have a few options for travel to the museum:

  1. Meet at a Metro station and travel down to the museum as a group. (Red Line to Judiciary Square, National Building Museum exit, walk 2 blocks.)
  2. Meet somewhere in our neighborhood and organize group Uber/Lyft rides to the museum.
  3. Meet at the museum (There is a public paid parking garage available at 3rd & G Streets, NW).
  4. Full members can also request a volunteer ride.

Please let us know how you plan to arrive at the museum, so we can plan our meeting places!
