Aging at Home: What does it mean to age in place? Many of us want to remain in our homes as long as we can without it becoming unsafe or very difficult. What are our options as we age and how do we pay for those options? This presentation discusses the services available in the community that aid in maintaining our health and quality of life as we age. This types of services may include fee for service providers that may be brought into the home such as home care, daily money manager, visiting doctors, etc. Or benefits provided by local Area Agencies on Aging. Additionally we’ll discuss what options are out there to pay for these services. Join us for a discussion on considerations and options to thrive at home.
Presented by Michelle McGrath, LICSW, LCSW-C; Aging Life Care Manager at Seabury Resources for Aging
