We meet every Friday for a 45-60 minute walk (weather permitting!), alternating between Rock Creek Park and Tenleytown. Each walk has two leaders, one for moderate paced walkers and another for walkers who either prefer or need a slower pace.
Registration is recommended, but optional.
This week: Rock Creek Park - meet at Parking Lot 6 (see below for directions and a map). We meet in the parking lot at the entrance to the lot at the other end from the bathrooms.

Inclement weather policy: NNV will make a decision to cancel a walk, in the event of predicted inclement weather. All registered walkers will be notified by email or you can check our events calendar for an updated status. For safety's sake - in summer, walks will be cancelled for: temperature in excess of 90 degrees F, Heat Index or Real Feel in excess of 90 F, and/or air quality alerts - orange, red or purple.
NNV Full Members: If you would like to request a ride to get to the starting point of the walk, please mention that you need a ride when you register for the walk or call the office at (202) 935-6060 to request a ride at least three days in advance of the walk.
