Gentle yoga is designed for older adults who prefer a slower-pace. Students will experience a gradual progression of yoga poses to strengthen and stretch the body and breathing practices to calm the mind. The teacher will tailor the poses to accommodate the needs of different bodies, such as tight hips and hamstrings or cranky knees. All levels are welcome.
What to bring:
- Please bring your own yoga mat.
- A towel is recommended as padding for knees.
- Bring your own water bottle.
Chairs will be available too.
No registration required. First 20 participants are welcome.
This class is intended for DC Residents age 60 plus. No class on February 28 and July 3.
